This series is an odyssey of Ulysses—an act of wandering, a descent into memory and origins, a search for the traces of my history and childhood in Morocco. Following in the footsteps of my mother, who photographed this territory between 2003 and 2005 during our expatriation in Rabat, I attempt to reweave a bond with this country that has inhabited me since my return in March 2024. It is a matter of grazings, crossings, frictions—an intimate terrain where memory stirs, where the ephemeral resides: sand, wind, sea, and light, all that brushes against us and cannot be held.
To reclaim this territory, I immerse myself in shadow and stretch the night, drawing from it glimmers, points of anchorage, flights of birds—photographic fragments that confront time and the erosion of memory in order to endure, just as my own body clings to the land. Like the thread of Ariadne in my odyssey, like Tom Thumb’s white pebbles, each of these squares is a clue, a compass, an obol offered to reach the world of dreams and remembrance. Like Peter Pan, it is a way of resisting the forgetting of childhood and the erosion of memory.
I seek to write a calligraphy of gestures, silhouettes, and landscapes—to compose a love letter to this country. From this exploration of childhood, through intimate ties to place and between beings, emerges a tenderness for those and that which are rediscovered after absence.

Author's biography
Born in Rochefort sur Mer in 1994, I grew up in Tahiti, Morocco and France. Self-taught, I'm passionate about family photo albums, the images that archive my travels and my surroundings. Having moved around and lived in different places, I question the relationship we have with the places we live in, the impermanence of our bodies, our relationship with the land and with nature. My photographic practice, somewhere between personal narrative and fiction, takes a poetic and sensitive approach to the notion of intimate territory. It reveals a sensitivity driven by the human element, the need to preserve a trace of memory and the personal relationship I have with those I photograph. I use light, gestures and ephemeral staging to create dreamlike series. My multi-faceted career path, from theater to photography, via radio and communications, has never ceased to be guided by my need to tell the story of the other through oneself, and of oneself through the other. I work in film and handprint my images. I was selected to take part in the residency Campus Photographique des Promenades Photographiques de Vendôme (2017). I have exhibited at Galerie Joseph - Le Palais in Paris (2022), Soho Photo Gallery in New York (2023), studio Le Petit Oiseau va sortir in Paris (2023) and the Biennale di Fotografia in Portogruaro, Italy (2023-2024). My work has been published by Fisheye Magazine, Lomography Magazine, Photovogue - Vogue Italia, Analog Magazine, Iconic Magazine, Sola Journal.
