In the bustling streets of Barcelona, a young architect turned photographer found his calling, and from there, embarked on a journey that led him to the captivating landscapes of Norway. Pau Buscató, a visionary in the realm of street photography, has spent the last 12 years navigating the chaos and randomness of cities worldwide, seeking to distill the essence of life through his lens.

Born in Barcelona and currently based in Norway, Buscató's transition from architecture to photography was a pivotal moment in his life. After years of studying and working in the architectural field, he made the bold decision to pursue his passion for photography full-time. With an insatiable curiosity for the world around him, he embraced the streets as his canvas, eager to capture the fleeting moments of everyday life.

As a member of the esteemed iN-PUBLiC street photography collective, Buscató's work has garnered recognition for its unique perspective and artistic vision. For him, street photography is not merely about documenting reality; it's a playful exploration of the urban landscape, a dance with light and shadow, shapes and forms, people and their stories.

"There's nothing quite like the thrill of hitting the streets in the morning, with the whole day ahead of me," Buscató shares. "No plans, no predefined pictures, just me and my camera, ready to embrace whatever the city has to offer."

His approach to photography is instinctive, guided by intuition rather than preconceived notions. With each step, he immerses himself in the rhythm of the streets, allowing the sights and sounds to dictate his movements. "I see something left, I go left. I see something right, I go right," he explains. "It's an organic process that keeps me grounded in the present moment, always open to serendipitous encounters."

For Buscató, street photography is a game—a joyful pursuit where anything and everything can become a subject of interest. Whether it's a fleeting glance between strangers, a play of light on architectural facades, or the whimsical arrangement of everyday objects, he finds beauty in the ordinary and the overlooked.

"Photography is my way of making sense of the world," Buscató reflects. "Through my images, I aim to capture the essence of life—the joy, the chaos, the moments of quiet contemplation. Each photograph tells a story, a fragment of the larger narrative unfolding in the streets."

In a world filled with noise and distraction, Buscató's photographs serve as a reminder to slow down and pay attention to the world around us. Through his lens, the streets come alive with vibrant energy and hidden narratives, waiting to be discovered by those willing to look closer.
